Admitted to the hospital with crippling pneumonia and respiratory failure, she displayed an unwavering spirit in the face of adversity. After 11 days in the hospital, our resident arrived at Lotus Village with high hopes of returning home within two weeks.

Our dedicated team immediately sprang into action, recognizing the importance of personalized care. With a comprehensive evaluation and a tailored plan, our therapy department began its transformative work. The Lotus Village team's boundless enthusiasm became a wellspring of encouragement, instilling confidence and determination in our resident's heart! Her relentless dedication fueled a shared mission: to make the dream of returning home within two weeks a reality.

And what a triumphant moment it was when, on the 11th day of her stay, our resident was ready to discharge back to the comfort of her own home. Equipped with the appropriate home health services and durable medical equipment (DME) needed for her continued success, follow-up appointments with her Primary Care Physician (PCP) were also scheduled to ensure the seamless continuation of her care.
